The filly was narrowly edged out of an automatic place in the Vicbred Super Series final in the last stride of her semi-final at Melton before a scratching gave the emergency a second chance.
Despite finishing seventh last week, owner and breeder Grant Coelli was impressed with the two-year-old filly.
"I wasn't disappointed in the horse, but we just got no luck in running," Coelli said.
"She run the second quickest last 800 of the race and Amelia Rose is the only one who went quicker, and it sat on our back the whole way when we were three wide without cover.
"I thought she was a mammoth run and when the thing flashed and grabbed her on the post I was shattered, but she's got a run."
Now the Leeton horseman is hoping for another slice of luck after a poor draw in the final on Saturday, believing she's a much better chance than a $51 shot.
"It's a tough barrier but I think she's airbourne at the moment," Coelli said.
"You need a lot of luck to win a group one, and even more to win one from barrier seven, but you can't win it in the stall at home."
Blake Jones again takes the drive on a filly who has only missed the placings twice in her 10 starts to date.
Coelli is looking to leave the early tactics up to him after never really asking the filly to accelerate off the gate.
It's the second time Coelli has qualified a filly for the race, or any group one, with Realnspectacular's older half-sister Man Hands finishing 11th two years ago.
