The club held a public meeting last week to update residents on where the situation currently stands.
Financial woes have been plaguing the club for some time and, with the resignation of the most-recent secretary-manager and a long-term staff member, the facility's future seemed even more up in the air.
The club's board has been working on various solutions, with Joe Lico offering his consultancy services at a discounted rate to help the struggling business.

Board director Glenn Preston said having someone of Mr Lico's experience was positive news.
"It was something we had been looking at doing for some time ... Joe has many years experience in the industry, as well as some great contacts," he said.
"He's come on board to go through everything and see what else we can be doing to make sure the doors stay open.
"It's very positive news. We don't expect Joe to have a miracle wand to wave around, we still need the community to be supporting us.
"At the end of the day that is what is going to keep everything going."
The public meeting was attended by around 60 people, with many offering up suggestions of their own about how to reinvigorate the club.
Mr Preston said the time was now for all community members to get on board with keeping the club afloat.
"What we keep telling people is 'it's not my club, it's not the board's club - it's your club'," he said.
"Having Joe here is a huge step forward and it's very positive news. That doesn't mean we can be resting though."
