Crows captain Bryce O'Garey goalled in the final minute to help Leeton-Whitton to a four-point victory, 8.4 (52) to 6.12 (48) at Crossroads Oval.

It was the Crows' second win of the year, in consecutive weeks, but the result also spelt disaster for the Demons and their finals chances.

The Crows kicked five goals in the second term to hit the front at half-time and then led until about six minutes to go when the Demons hit the front.

The young Crows showed plenty of heart and O'Garey broke clear from a clearance at the death to give the visitors another morale-boosting victory.

Suspended Leeton-Whitton coach Daniel Muir could not have been prouder of his team for a second consecutive week.

"Obviously last week put a bit of belief into the boys and showed what we can do when we play four quarters of football. We had been building for that game last week and I suppose the floodgates are open now," Muir said.

"It was that game that we really needed to prove to ourselves. Today we wanted to try and make a statement and that's what we done. We dug our heels in and showed a bit of character. To have that belief in our system and each other to fight back was awesome."

Bryce O'Garey was best-on-ground, while Ryan Grey, Will Wakeman, Jade Hodge (four goals), Tom Meline and Kyle Pete all played important roles in the win for the Crows.

The win came somewhat at a cost with Tommy Van Buuren going to hospital for scans on an injured shoulder, while Coopa Steele also hurt his arm.

The Crows were coached to victory on Saturday by assistant Matt Rainbird and Nathan Jones.

Best on a dirty day for Collingullie-GP were Daniel Frawley and Tom Keogh.

It was the Demons' second surprise loss this year after falling to Narrandera earlier in the season.
