The two cocktail gala events as part of the event - Hundred at the Hydro and the Flappers and Felons Ball - had residents and visitors alike donning their best 1920s costumes and outfits.

Across both Friday and Saturday nights, the ladies looked stunning in their flapper dresses, furs, feather boas, head pieces and gloves, while the men looked just as dapper in their suits, hats, shoes and accessories.

Friday evening's affair at the Historic Hydro Motor Inn had residents feeling like they had stepped back in time from the moment they arrived.

Historic vehicles transported guests to the front door, but not before a quick spin around Leeton's main street area.

After the drive in the luxurious vehicles, residents were greeted at the door and escorted inside where the red carpet and dancers awaited.

A glass of bubbles got the proceedings underway before delicious canapes were hand delivered by the charming staff of the Historic Hydro.

Some in attendance had selected to take part in a murder mystery, adding an extra element of fun and excitement to the night.

Participants kept in character, stuck to their script and eventually worked out it was in fact the police chief who was the murderer.

Delicious hand-crafted cocktails were also available, with a casino area set up for residents to play poker and even try their hand at roulette.

One couldn't forget the entertainment either with songs and dancing in both the main bar and ballroom the order of the night.

The following evening was the flash and fancy Flappers and Felons Ball at Leeton's iconic Roxy Theatre, which was lit up and shining in all of its element.

Guests were divided into upstairs and downstairs depending on whether they had selected the "flapper" or "felon" option.

Those downstairs were treated to delicious menu from Leeton's most famous chef - Eric Pages - while those upstairs enjoyed delicious eats from the Hungry Fox.

The theatre was immaculately decorated and the entertainment really had participants in a swing as the music got going, so to did the moves of those there on the night.

The feedback from all who attended the events was that it was "wonderful", "fun to dress up" and a "great idea for Leeton".
