Held across three days last weekend, the event attracted more than 4000 residents and visitors to its plethora of different events.
From various photographic and art exhibitions, to movie screenings, author talks, a huge festival day in Chelmsford Place and the gala evenings at the Roxy Theatre and Historic Hydro Motor Inn, the response from participants has been more than positive.
Leeton Shire Council's marketing and cultural services co-ordinator Suesann Vos said expectations had been met and exceeded.
"For a first-time event, it certainly achieved a lot," she said.
"People have been so positive with their feedback, but we want to hear it all.
"All of the feedback will be collated and provided to council for it to look over.
"Council will decide whether the event is held again, but it will certainly be my recommendation that it does happen every year."

The festival had visitors from all over the country taking part, including from Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and more.
The visiting Early Ford V8 Club of NSW had several vintage cars and their owners participating over the weekend and have said not only would they return again, but there's a bigger idea in mind.
"They've said they would like to hold their national conference here in Leeton, so that's great news and it's wonderful to have something like that stem from their involvement in the festival," Mrs Vos said.
"The members just thought Leeton was a wonderful town with a lot to offer."
With so many visitors in town, businesses across the shire were well patronized during the weekend. Accommodation places were booked solid, cafes were packed and restaurants were all kept busy, as were the retail stores.
Those wanting to give feedback about the weekend can do so by completing an online survey, which can be found by visiting the Australian Art Deco Festival Leeton Facebook page.
