The combined knowledge of Jade Edmistone and Jess Schipper holds a certain wow factor that wasn't lost on swimming students from around the region on the weekend.
Griffith's Black Line Swim School's Deb and Peter Della Franca were proud hosts, having invited these talented two to give students an opportunity regional areas so often miss out on.
"Kids in regional areas don't have nearly as many opportunities like this as their capital city counterparts do, so for them they are just in awe," Deb said.
Not only imparting world-class swimming knowledge, the advice given on goal setting, resilience and keeping motivated was important for all aspects of life.
Grandparent Vicki Greedy said while it was clear their combined training knowledge was extensive, the psychological tips were invaluable.
"They go beyond the drills, what it is like emotionally to swim, and how to build up that resilience," Mrs Greedy explained. Future swimming career hopefuls Jacob Ambrose from Adelong, 13, and Annie Jones from Griffith, 10, both left feeling inspired and driven.
"Learning how to tumble turn and how to finish, they were the main things for me," Jacob said.
For Annie, she came away knowing that believing in yourself no matter what was the most important thing.
"They also taught me about managing my nerves, and how to respond competing against people who may be better than me," she said.
Edmistone, who normally holds these classes in Queensland, said the Griffith kids would always have a special place in her heart, and would "return in a heart beat".
"There is just so much talent in regional areas... this is a chance for me to make a difference... I think I have taken the best aspects of all of my coaches, each being good at different things."
She places great value in knowing why doing something was important, because "knowing why gives you motivation to continue." She thanked Deb and Peter for giving the kids this opportunity.
