Amber is in the running for the NSW Schools-Based Apprenticeships/Traineeship of the Year award after having taking out the Riverina title in June.
She was one of 10 finalists who recently traveled to Sydney to be interviewed by the judges for the state honour, where she made the top three.
Amber will now attend a special dinner along with the other two finalists at Sydney's Town Hall on September 12.

Amber is currently completing a school-based apprenticeship through the ANZ Bank in Leeton.
During the schools-based apprenticeship experience Amber said she had built up a great deal of self-confidence and felt ready to get out there and face the real world, armed with the practical skills she's picked up along the way.
She's only 17 years-old and still has a ways to go before graduating high school, but she's already well-placed to tackle whatever future lies ahead of her.
