A large number of Leeton shire businesses have been selected as finalists for the event which will be held on September 6, across numerous categories.
The Hungry Fox Co is a finalist in the excellence in micro business section, QPL Rural Real Estate, which now has an office in Leeton in excellence in small business, Weston & Weston in excellence in business and Jane O'Garey from Rise & Shine Fitness in start-up superstar.
Other Leeton shire finalists include the Leeton Community Op Shop, SunRice, Owen Toyota, Matthew Pete from Southern Cotton, Randall Organic Rice and Aquna Sustainable Murray Cod.
NSW Business Chamber regional manager Andrew Cottrill said this year's finalists represent a cross section of businesses from right across the Murray-Riverina region.
"These awards are a wonderful opportunity to showcase the strength of Murray-Riverina businesses," he said.

"It's been a tough year for many businesses due to the ongoing drought and low water allocations, so it will be great to celebrate and highlight the excellence of our local business community."
Winners of the 2019 Murray-Riverina Regional Business Awards, will go one to represent the region at NSW Business Chamber's State Business Awards, to be held on November 22 in Sydney.
"Based on the calibre of this year's finalists, I expect that our regional winners will again do very well at the NSW Business Chamber State Awards this year," Mr Cottrill said.
