Police confirmed the break and enters had happened while the Palm Avenue man was in hospital and they are now hoping the community can help them arrest those responsible.
Acting Inspector Craig Johnson said anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in Palm Avenue in recent weeks should contact police or Crime Stoppers immediately.
"We would urge anyone who might have seen anything to call," he said.
Another property was also broken into on August 14 in Wirilda Street, but it was vacant at the time.

Meanwhile, police have issued a 37-year-old Leeton man with a court attendance notice after he was found to be driving while disqualified.
The man was pulled over for a random breath test about 10.30pm on Friday when police discovered his license had been suspended from 2018 until 2023.
The random breath test came back negative, but the man will now be required to face court for driving while disqualified.
