Currently looking after the Leeton and Narrandera local government areas is Acting Inspector Craig Johnson.
He has been filling in for that position for the last couple of months after the former Chief Inspector John Wadsworth returned to his home town of Griffith.
It comes as the Murrumbidgee Region recently welcomed a new Commander, Superintendent Craig Ireland in late June.
Superintendent Ireland came to the region from Wagga, but had also worked in several other areas across the state during his career which began in 1988.
