I truly value the teachers, support staff, school based service providers and volunteers who are eager to see the best for each and every child. It is the result of great leadership that inspires the team who have one purpose and that is every child safe, well and thriving. I have found it an environment that is inclusive and encouraging. The staff display amazing gifts of teaching and support in an environment of such diverse cultures and experiences.
Every child is given the opportunity to participate and I have found that all the staff respect and value one another and their contribution in making a nurturing yet dynamic learning environment. The commitment and enthusiasm in this teaching environment is quite infectious! Teaching is not confined to the set curriculum, it also embraces community action, kindness and team work. Each day I enter the school grounds I feel connected to a community that is cohesive and vibrant. I have only a short tenure there yet I quickly sense a true sense of belonging.
Next time you pass by a school take the time to be thankful for our teachers and support staff who put their heart into building a thriving community of learning and growth.
