Leeton have played every week of the finals series after first winning their elimination final and the streak has continued since then.
The Greens are now preparing to line up against Darlington Point-Coleambally on Sunday in the reserve grade final in what will be a showdown to remember.
Leeton go in as underdogs, but it is a tag that sits well with one of the side's co-coaches Shayne Roden.
"I think basically the whole way through the finals we've been underdogs and we've shown what we can do," he said.
"Making the grand final is a great achievement, considering how we started the year.
"At training some weeks we'd have eight turn up and then we had a few losses to start the year.
"But since then, it has all started to come together.
"Everyone really started to commit, come to training and just get behind each other."
Helping to boost the side coming towards the pointy end of the year has been the full-time inclusion of several players who were playing with the Phantoms.
"Those guys were playing a bit for us, but after the Phantoms were out, they came over and were playing with us and it's been massive ... they've made a real difference," Roden said.
"But honestly though we've got such a good mix in our team. There's the old heads like myself and then some youth as well.
"We all work really well together. I definitely think we can win on the weekend."

With the DPC Roosters standing between Leeton and holding up the silverware come the final whistle, Roden said his team would be going in focused and ready.
The Greens lost their first clash with the Roosters this year, 34-10, but in their second meeting picked up a 16-10 victory.
"We just need to turn up and worry about ourselves," Roden said.
"It's going to be a tough game, but we've got the side to do it."
