The Saturday ladies event was a stableford. The winner, with a great score of 40, was Nola O'Reilly. Runner-up was Joan Dartnell. Pins: 4th and 15th, Julie Fitzsimon; 13th, A Skinner.
Last Saturday, the men played a stableford. A Grade winner Anthony Rudd 41 points on a countback to Colin Tuckett. B Grade, David Sandquest, 41; runner-up, Bruce Harrison, 40. C Grade, Barry Irvine, 40; runner-up John Hill, 39, on a countback.

Leeton Soldiers Bridge Club
Four members of the Leeton Soldiers Bridge Club have gained promotions on the way to becoming Grand Masters. Penny Williams has become a State Master, Eric Hudson is Local Master, and new players, Margaret Atkin and Penny Hudson are Club Masters.
August 20: 1st Rhonda Thomas and Dan Cotter, 2nd Penny and Phillip Williams, 3rd Eva Lu and Neil Ditton.
August 23: 1st Eva Lu and Neil Ditton, 2nd Helen and Eric Taylor, 3rd Bob Chappell and Phillip Williams.
August 27: 1st Penny and Phillip Williams, 2nd Rhonda Thomas and Dan Cotter, 3rd Jennie Pike and Brian Troy.
