LEETON United's 2019 season has come to an end following a 2-0 loss to Henwood Park on Sunday afternoon.
In cold and windy conditions, United played well on the day, making plenty of chances, but just weren't able to capitalise.
Leeton United entered the match as arguably the competition's form team after beating top five opposition the past three weeks, but were unable to find a way past Hawks keeper Nathan Trinder and missed suspended skipper Joey Fondacaro.
Henwood Park scored midway through the first half before getting their second about 70 minutes in.
United will be disappointed, but will do well to remember the solid season they've had.
They will no doubt be back and ready to fire come season 2020 as they search to go even deeper into the finals series.
