The incident occurred when a 28-year-old Leeton man went to the home in Palm Avenue where police said an altercation took place.
A front bedroom window was allegedly smashed by the offender with a pipe, which was also used to assault the male victim.

His injuries were minor but did require treatment at Leeton District Hospital.
The alleged offender was arrested at the scene before being taken to Leeton police station where he was charged with malicious damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Waiting on further analysis
A 27-YEAR-OLD woman is awaiting lab results after she tested positive to driving under the influence of a prohibited drug.
The woman was pulled over by police for a random drug test on Wamoon Avenue on September 3 where a positive reading was detected.
She was taken to Narrandera police station where a second test also recorded a positive result.
Police will await results of a further analysis before any further action is taken.
