LOOKING back at times gone by proved to be a winning formula for Parkview in Lights recently.
The event is a two-show extravaganza where every single student from Parkview Public School is involved in performing on stage.
Many months of hard work go into the production and it was easy to see why during the performances as each group's efforts were worthy of standing ovations.
This year's theme was "Pastview: A journey through time".
"Over 1200 people flocked to the LHS MPC to be entertained by Parkview students," principal Travis Irvin said.
"We were lucky enough to host guests from community groups as broad as the Leeton Early Learning Centre, Gralee School and Assumption Villa, which was terrific.
"The show featured performances from the Prehistoric Age, Stone Age, Industrial Revolution, Ancient Egypt, Jurassic Era, Ice Age and the future."
The school holds the production biennially and is something students and the wider community looks forward to.
