The Improvement Committee recently held what turned out to be a lengthy meeting, with many updates, positive discussions, and sharing of information, across a large number of community stakeholders. We are looking forward to what is in the pipeline for Whitton.

This school holidays the hall is hosting a Kids Fun Day on Saturday, October 5, starting at 11am. There will be craft activities, pizza making, ice cream decorating and a movie screening of Dumbo. Cost is $5. Any inquiries or to book a place contact Cathy 0407 403 598.
On Saturday, October 12 at Whitton Bowling Club there is a Do it for Cancer Fundraiser, starting at 6pm. There will be live entertainment, raffles, sausage sizzle, light nibbles and a lucky door prize. Proceeds of the night will be going to Cancer Council NSW. All welcome.
Expressions of interest are currently being taken for a Community Garage Sale Day, to be potentially held late October. The garage sale can be at a home address or a stall in the Community Hall. To express an interest or for more information contact Tracy 0403 984 482.
Whitton Murrami School P&C are currently running a 100 Club, with $1000 prize money for one lucky winner. This fundraiser is to help with costs of an upcoming excursion to Canberra. The school is also busy planning an exciting Grandparents Day, to be held next term.
Currently in the planning stage, are some seniors computer/tech sessions, where in a relaxed environment, at the Hall, you can learn about using computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
