Yanco Public School was recently paid a special visit from chef David Tsirekas, who had tastebuds tingling.
Mr Tsirekas travelled from Sydney to work with the students in years two to six as part of a new initiative at the school called "Week of Tastes".
The program is designed for year four students, but all from years two to six were given the opportunity to learn from Mr Tsirekas.

They were each given a free Zeus restaurant t-shirt ad helped prepare a huge Greek feast.
"Our school registered for the Week of Tastes activities as part of our Kitchen Garden program," Yanco Public School principal Tarnya Grigg said.
"Our amazing chef supplied all the ingredients free of charge and some items from the school garden.
"Our students created souvlaki using healthy and fresh ingredients, Greek salad, prepared meat skewers and made chocolate filo pastries for dessert, with chocolate flavoured tahini."
The students also participated in sensory activities prior to preparing all the delicious food building their experiences with touch, taste and smell.
Mr Tsirekas taught the students many skills to use in the kitchen for food preparation, cooking and serving.
"We are looking forward to being part of the experience again in 2020," Mrs Grigg said.
