The Riverina Organic Expo will be held in Leeton on November 9 and 10 and is the brain child of resident Sandra Nardi.
Three key events are planned as part of the weekend and each have a special focus on organic produce.
Organic farm tours will be held on November 9 from 9am to 3pm, where participants will travel by bus to sample delicious food and learn how it grows from paddock to plate.

This will be followed by a Wine and Tapas Night later that evening and an Organic Market Day on November 10, which only requires a gold coin entry. Residents and visitors alike can choose to attend all three events, or whichever tickles their fancy the most.
Ms Nardi the idea behind the event was to showcase just what the region had on offer when it came to organic produce and farming as many in the community may not be aware of just how extensive it is.
"We're basically raising awareness that we do have this organic produce and products in this area, it is easy to find and it's supporting local businesses," she said.
"Especially in a time where we are in a drought and water is sparse.
"It's an affordable event. We tried to make it as reasonable as possible."
The event has been able to go ahead thanks to sponsorship, including a grant from Beyond Bank.
Any money raised from the expo, once costs are covered, will be donated to Rural Outreach Counselling.
"We thought that was an important group to aligned with and supporting," Ms Nardi said.
"Hopefully everyone comes along and supports us."
