Those lucky enough to have the three days of the long weekend off work can look forward to a mild Monday of around 25 degrees.
According to the Bureau of Meterology, the heat isn't limited to just Leeton, with much of NSW expected to experience a burst of hot weather.
In true spring form, it will however return to cooler temperatures around Tuesday next week.
Leeton shire residents have also been reminded daylight savings will begin on Sunday when clocks should be moved forward one hour to 3am.
