Ms Leeson was named the winner of the title on Friday night, with Isabel Ryan the Miss Teen Showgirl.
Unfortunately, Ms Leeson was the sole entrant in this year's competition, but she hopes to use the next 12 months to promote the initiative in the hopes of attracting more young ladies in 2020.
Ms Leeson is also the vice president of the Leeton Show Society and said ensuring the event's longevity was something she was passionate about.
"I think it's crucial we keep it going," she said.
"Even though I was the only entrant, I did get a lot out of the experience, especially when speaking with the judges."
Ms Leeson will now spend time preparing for the zone finals, which will be held on February 15 in Finley.
She said while Saturday at the Leeton Show was a busy time, she enjoyed taking part in as many activities as possible.

Ms Leeson is also looking forward to meeting other Showgirl winners from across the region at the zone finals and putting the Leeton Show front and centre.
