Totem Skate School held a workshop day in Leeton during the school holidays, with the idea of not only providing new techniques to learn in a fun and safe environment, but to also instill self-confidence in the riders.
The day was supported by Leeton's Rapid Relief Team (RRT), which is a global charitable organisation which offers support to youth, the homeless, emergency services and others in times of need.
The group provided a delicious barbecue and other treats on the day to ensure the participants were well-fueled throughout.
Former Leeton resident Dave Cameron, who is from The Totem Collective, was on hand to facilitate the workshops.
"It's great to see the turnout ... we're still working on an upgrade for the Leeton Skate Park as well," Mr Cameron said.

"The grant funding proposal has gone in, so we're just waiting to hear back.
"We love coming out and doing these sorts of events, especially here in Leeton."
RRT Leeton team leader Rod Martin said the day had numerous benefits.
"It's been a great opportunity to promote our local youth and for us to do what we can to support local entities," he said.
