St Peter's Anglican Church will host an open garden day on November 2, which will feature five gardens from parishioners.
It is the first time the church has held such an event, with the selected gardens scattered throughout the town, each with their own distinct feel or theme.
The event is a fundraiser for the church. One of those opening up their garden is Mandy Walsh.
"I'm very much a novice gardener, but I love it ... I find it to be very therapeutic," she said.
"It's wonderful all of our gardens for this event are coming from our parishioners. We'd love everyone to come along and take a look.
"You can go to all five or just one. It's up to you."
