Their first game against Wagga Wagga Sloggers with skipper Haydn Pascoe (3/19) coming into the attack and claiming the wickets of Aaron Maxwell (8) and Joel Robinson (3) in his first two overs.
Brayden Ambler (61) would be the thorn in the side of the Rangers while Beck Frostick (20) and James Evans (33) also chipped in to see the Sloggers side finish on 7/146 after their 20 overs.
Dean Bennett (1/32), Theo Valeri (1/41) and Dean Aylett (1/25) took the other wickets while Tim McGufficke picked up a run out on the final ball.
The Rangers didn't get off to the start they would have wanted with Al Edis (2), and Bennett (0) to the bowling of David Garness (3/15) meaning the job of rebuilding fell to Pascoe and Theo Valeri for the second straight weekend.
While they were able to get the side moving it was short-lived with Theo Valeri (11) falling with the score on 22 while brother Tom (9) followed 15 runs later.
The Rangers were unable to stop the consistent fall of wickets and despite the efforts of Pascoe (16), Luke Docherty (22) and Angus Boulton (17), the Murrumbidgee side were bowled out for 107 in 18 overs.
Their second game of the doubleheader against the ACT Aces was called off without a ball being bowled due to a torrential downpour. The result means the ACT Aces will represent the region in the finals.
