If it rained, it poured on the weekend, and despite events such as Altina Wildlife Park's 15 year anniversary event having to be rescheduled for a later date, they and everyone else were truly not resentful in the slightest.

With the streets of Griffith and Yenda almost flash flooding on Sunday, residents were delighted to hear the sounds of rain on their roof and, for the most part, puddles forming in their gardens.
Saturday saw a welcome 10 millimetres in Griffith with a top of 19 degrees, with the highest point of humidity a sticky 99 percent at 9pm.
On Sunday roughly 27 millimetres of rain fell from between 12pm and 5pm.
As for Leeton, 7.6 millimetres fell on Saturday and 22.4 millimetres on Sunday.
The humidity got to 100 percent on both days of the weekend.
