According to Leeton Shire Council, water restrictions are currently not required, despite an the ongoing drought crisis across the state.
Council general manager Jackie Kruger explained the reason why the shire would not be moving to any form of water restrictions at this current time.
"Town (water) allocations would need to drop to below 60 per cent to trigger any potential water restrictions," she said.
"Town allocation for this year is (currently at) 100 per cent of entitlement."

Several areas across the state are enforcing water restrictions, with some towns even close to running out of water.
With the forecast of another long summer looming, there has been some suggestion that water restrictions, even minor ones, should be in place.
However, Mrs Kruger said she was unaware of the Leeton shire community doing any form of pushing or campaigning for water restrictions to be in place in this area.
"No (there hasn't been), however residents are, in general, keenly aware of the drought and do talk about the need to use water responsibly," she said.
"They are spot on.
"We all need to be water wise. A useful resource for residents interested in reducing their water consumption can be found at www.smartwatermark.org/NSW-saving-water-home/."
Mrs Kruger while there were no official restrictions in play, there were areas around the home where residents can save water.
Taking shorter showers, making sure there are no leaks around hoses or taps and only watering lawns and gardens at certain times of the day are all ways residents can reduce the amount of water they are using.
