L&D have extended their lead at the top of the B grade standings after a comfortable win over Yanco Cricket Club on Saturday afternoon.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Ferrets lost an early wicket with Thomas Camm (2/20) picking up Matt Axtill (9), but Peter Lashbrook was able to play a key role in keeping his side on track.
After putting on 30 runs with Lashbrook, Bryce Collins (6) fell was the second to fall victim to Camm while Matt Robertson (5) followed closely behind when he was caught off the bowling of Charlie Lamont (1/14).
Harley Bateup (13) was the only batsman outside of Lashbrook (46) to break double digits as Tye Clancy was able to rip through the Ferrets lower order to see them finish on 9/105 off 20 overs.
It was a tough start for the Stags as early wickets hampered their chances with Matt Robertson (3/5) doing the early damage with the wickets of Andrew Kouzan (2), Anthony Mandaglio (1) and Clancy (13).
The tasked was made harder with Chris Gavel (4/9) destroying the middle order as Max Yelland (15) was the only batsman to offer any resistance as the Stags were eventually bowled out for 65.
Meanwhile, the C Grade competition rolled on with Yanco Cricket Club Phantoms able to take a high scoring win against L&D. The Ferrets were lead well by Harrison Steele (72*), Tyler O'Connell (28) and Blake McDonald (14) to see the side finish their innings on 6/158.
The Phantoms had little trouble chasing down the total with Harvey Gay (66*), Lucas Irvin (33) and Max Yelland (38*) leading their side to an eight-wicket win.
In the other C grade clash, the Yanco Cricket Club Stars were able to hold on to a narrow win against St Francis High School. The Stars were helped with a strong start from their top order with Callum Dunn (12) and Charlie Lamont (14) getting their side to 31 before Brady Edis (2/14) made the breakthrough. Thomas Camm (26) was the only other Star to get a start as they finished on 7/88 after 20 overs.
Zach Packer (11) and Joel Golding (17) made starts by St Francis ran out of time with the Yanco side coming away with a seven-run win.
