Richey enjoys caring for the animals and ensuring they are being treated correctly.
Her current fast-paced hero is Foxy Molly, who has been finding great success on tracks throughout the country after being trained in Melbourne.
She will soon head off to new trainers and will begin racing again at places such as Goulburn, Dapto and Wentworth Park after taking a break here in Leeton.
Foxy Molly was a "giveaway greyhound", but has proven she can match it with the best on the track.

She has already placed first 10 times, as well as picking up 10 seconds and eight thirds.
She's even thrown her hand in the political ring, appearing at the polling booth in Leeton during this year's state election.
"She's just such a good dog," Richey said.
"She's very laidback, but she loves racing. She goes out there and you can't stop her."
Richey also owns another greyhound, named Tikki, who is just starting out, but has already picked up two wins, two seconds, three thirds and two fourths in her nine starts.
Foxy Molly is very much a family favourite among the Richey family, after she was named by Mary Richey.
