National AgDay was held on November 21 after it was created to recognise the work of growers, farmers and producers right across the country.
Green was the colour of the day, representing how farmers across all sectors are producing clean and safe food and fibre in Australia.
In Leeton, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia hosted a sausage sizzle to thank the MIA's many farmers for their efforts in feeding and producing materials for the nation.
"The agriculture sector is crucial to the Australian economy, and vital to our local community as well," said NSW general manager regional and agribusiness banking Vanessa Nolan-Woods.
"National Agricultural Day is a time to recognise the importance of the industry and how vital its success is for all Australians.
"We know many parts of our state, and across Australia, are doing it tough at the moment - and that's not only our farmers but also regional businesses and communities who are also feeling the impacts of this unprecedented drought.

"National Agricultural Day is an opportunity to show our support of every person who runs or works on a farm, or in any of the many sectors that support our agribusiness industry."
The sausage sizzle was attended by many local growers, who enjoyed a quick break before getting back to work.
