To be held on December 2 and 3, more numbers and power of the people is required to ensure the voices of communities that are suffering are heard.

Trucks, buses, cars, tractors and machinery have all been invited to take part, with MIA co-ordinator Robert Quodling sending a final message to those thinking about taking part, but haven't yet signed up.

"We need our MIA community to show strength in numbers to ensure our concerns are taken seriously," he said.

The Convoy to Canberra is rallying for change when it comes to the Murray-Darling Basin Plan, calling for it to be either scrapped or paused.

"The reality of this failed plan is hitting home in a monumental way," Mr Quodling said.

"Farmers are unable to grow crops and pasture, massive job loses all over the Riverina and more coming.

"Surely by traveling to Canberra we can encourage some sanity in parliament and demand a 'water reformation program' that includes and helps all.

Leo Ieraci, who is the Griffith-based co-ordinator, is imploring all of the transport companies in the MIA to get behind this protest before "nothing is left to cart".

A free bus has also been organised for those who want to be part of the convoy.
