Harry led Leeton's Warren Smith representative cricket side to victory against South West on the weekend with a stunning century before going on to claim six wickets for just 10 runs.

Playing in front of a home crowd, Harry's feat was not lost on those present.

As captain of the team, Harry said he wanted to make sure he contributed each time he stepped on the field.

It's not the first time Harry has hit the triple figures mark out in the middle either, making a century last year in C grade for the L&D CC Ferrets.

"When you're walking off and everyone is clapping, I feel a bit embarrassed, but it's still pretty cool," Harry said.

"I always just want to try my best."

Cricket is definitely a sport Harry enjoys. He's part of many representative teams, club teams and his St Francis College school side as well.

Over the weekend he will play at a club level before heading off to Albury with the Murrumbidgee under 16s representative side where the team will play games from Sunday to Tuesday.

At a club level Harry plays third grade for Griffith club the Coro Cougars, while in Leeton he pads up for the L&D CC Ferrets.

"With the L&D CC I play all three grades ... wherever they need me really," Harry said.

Despite the packed schedule, Harry said his love of the cricket is what kept him going.

"I just love playing ... it's really fun," he said.

"You get to meet a lot of people.

"I really like batting." When asked whether or not he preferred the shorter or the longer forms of cricket, he couldn't choose between the two.

"It depends a bit, I like batting in the long format, but I'd rather field in the shorter format," he said. "I like any cricket really."

It should come as no surprise that Harry's favourite Australian player is Steve Smith - currently the world's number one ranked Test batsman.

"I like how he bats ... I could watch him all day," Harry said.

With Australia set to start their second Test of the summer this afternoon against Pakistan, Harry was pretty certain the Aussies would take out another victory.

"I think we'll win again ... they should be right," he said.
