Leeton Squash Club has begun a short five-week doubles competition in the lead up to Christmas.
A good turnout of 32 players took the plunge to try a different and fun style of squash, which will be played each Wednesday at the Leeton Soldiers Club.
Court 1 had team Oliver's take on team Dunlop's, the first pairing saw Narelle Ryan and Marnah Cunningham take on Naomi Rawle and Katie McAliece.
Narelle and Marnah winning the bout 11-8, 9-11, 13-11, 11-5.
Tina Dunn and Kira Brettschneider took on Josh Hart and Lizette Taylor, with Tina and Kira winning 11-4, 11-9, 11-9.
Dawid Croucamp and Nicholas Croucamp combined to take on Matt Collins and Alayna Croucamp - Dawid and Nic taking the win 11-6, 11-9, 11-7.
The last match of the evening on court 1 saw Cooper Boardman and Sean Ryan take on Bryan Shepley and Dion DeMamiel.
Bryan and Dion won the match 8-11, 11-5, 11-6, 18-16 but it was not enough for their team, the Oliver's winning the battle.
Court 2 had team Gray's take on team Wilson's.
Leah Smith and Brendon Looby paired up to take on Charmaine Lee and Simone Bruno, Leah and Brendon holding out to win 11-3, 11-8, 8-11, 6-11, 11-6.
Leah Smith subbed up to pair with Tahlia Taylor and they proved to strong for Siarne Deeves and Andre Holtzhausen, Leah and Tahlia winning 14-12,11-8,2-11,13-11.
Callum Ryan and Brian Dunn took on Anthony Iannelli and Brianna Gray-Mills which saw Callum and Brian win 11-4,12-10,11-9.
The last match up had Blayne Thompson and Emily Lyons take on Brian O'Leary and Will Rawle.
Brian and Will won the match 13-11, 5-11, 6-11, 13-11, 14-12, which gave their team the Wilson's a clean sweep.
