The group is made up of only a small amount of people, but those numbers continue to dwindle as a result of health issues and work commitments.
This is making it difficult for Yanco Lions to fulfill some of the events it commits to.
At the recent Yanco Lions Club hams carnival, president Buster Ryan gave a passionate speech to attendees about the group.
He spoke about the organisation and used the opportunity to enlighten the crowd about what the group does.
Mr Ryan said the group would gladly welcome new members to assist with the workload, which includes catering and fundraising commitments.
On a positive note, the club reported the hams carnival to be a success, despite numbers being slightly down on previous years.
Christmas hams and cakes were up-for-grabs with each spin of the wheel, with the event raising money to purchase books for Yanco Public School.
The school's P&C was on hand on the night to assist and sell some delicious eats.
"It's wonderful Lions and the school work together at these events," Yanco Lions Club member Sue Ryan said.

"The venue for the ham raffle is proving popular at McCaughey Park with the water pad being utilised by the kids.
"All in all it was another successful ham raffle to end the year with.
"Yanco Lions Club would like to thanks the community for their ongoing support throughout the year."
