It is now one year on since Leeton Shire Council was successful in gaining close to $4 million to upgrade the iconic building.
Since that announcement, consultation work has been underway on what exactly this project will entail.
However, the clock is ticking.
As per the terms of the funding agreement, the project must be completed by no later than December 31, 2021.

Roxy Redevelopment Committee chairman Katherine Herrmann said the planned start of construction by mid next year will depend on feedback from key stakeholders and the community.
Several parts of the project, particularly seating, have raised the ire of some user groups of the theatre, but through consultation and further work, it is hoped the final design will satisfy the majority.
"The Roxy redevelopment project is well underway with design options taking into consideration heritage and existing conditions such as services, while also addressing best ways to increase the attraction of new shows to town and support the great local talent Leeton has to offer," Mrs Herrmann said.
"Input has been obtained via the key user group engagement and wider general public consultation sessions held in 2019.
"The design team has considered this input which has resulted in exciting changes to the original proposal.
"These changes will be communicated with key user groups and the community at dates to be confirmed in the new year."
This will include the redevelopment committee, in conjunction with the project team, presenting what the remodel will now look like and what it believes is the best option to achieve the project outcomes.
This will then go before council for its approval.
"We look forward to working with the community on the successful delivery of the Roxy redevelopment," Mrs Herrmann said.
