The ban which begins at midnight on Friday, will continue through Saturday.

A total fire ban means no fires are permitted out in the open and all fire permits are suspended until the end of the ban.
Gas and electric barbecues can still be used provided there is a responsible adult supervising and a garden hose connected to a sustainable water source is nearby.
