We are most appreciative that she has nominated Leeton's RSL Sub Branch as her chosen charity and will involve a variety of activities that everyone will enjoy.
We encourage everyone to support as much as you can and if you wish to assist with any activities, please contact Belinda or our auxiliary.
The culmination of the success of these events will be revealed at Leeton's biennial SunRice Festival held over Easter, April 9 to 11.
Under the new Constitution of NSW RSL passed at Congress in Albury late last year, auxiliaries are now going to be under the control of their local Sub Branch, rather than continue being independent.
"Auxiliaries will always continue to be a cornerstone of the League, with their fundraising remaining crucial to our support for those who have served. Their quiet dedication to our cause is one of our greatest strengths," Acting State President, Ray James said.
Our first meeting for 2020 will be Friday February 7. This meeting will be the decider involving much discussion on our new direction into the future.
The RSL families and supporters monthly 10am coffee gathering will continue the third Saturday of the month, with the next on February 15 at La Fresco. All welcome.
We hope everyone had a very enjoyable Christmas and that 2020 brings peace and good health to all.
