Last year 96 golfers took part in the event in Leeton and it turned out to be success for one particular team.
The team of Jason Nardi, Matt Arnold, Chris Doolin and Tyler Boller progressed to the regional finals in Canberra where they then won their way through to the national championships.
With the sport continuing to grow in town, Leeton golf professional Jason Mimmo will be hopeful there will be just as much success again in 2020.
Owned and managed by the PGA of Australia, the Volkswagen Scramble has cemented itself as Australia's largest and most successful teams' event, averaging 36,500 participants across 460 local events annually.
Participants must hold an official Golf Australia Handicap to compete at a local event, which is run in an elimination Ambrose format where strategy is key to success.

Late last year a Leeton team also took out Griffith's VW Scramble event, so no doubt neighbouring teams will be trying to again outdo each other on the Leeton course on Sunday.
The event gets underway at 9am with a shotgun start with entries only accepted online.
