With pre-season training now underway twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, there's no better time to get involved, according to club president John Hill.
As an added incentive, the club is changing a couple of things up this year.
Firstly, there will be no second grade team this season.
While the club would clearly like to have this side compete, due to a lack of numbers in past seasons, this isn't feasible this year.

Instead the Phantoms will be focusing on their first grade squad being top notch and players not having to consistently back up, playing two games a week.
A spotlight will also be shone on third grade, with the club planning to use this division to introduce some of their younger players from the under 16s junior competition to senior football through this avenue.
These players will be mixed in with senior, experienced players with the idea to develop their talent, but also enjoy the game at the same time.
Hill reported the Dianas were looking strong ahead of the new season under the helm of coach Stuart Stout.
In a big move, the club will be covering the registration costs of all players this season as an incentive to try and attract more players to the game.
"It's the perfect time to come and give it a try ... all you need is a pair of footy boots," Hill said.
"All players across the board are welcome."
With Marika Vunibaka back at the coaching helm again for first grade, Hill said the team was shaping up well.
"Everything is looking pretty positive at the moment," he said.
The draw for the Southern Inland Rugby Union competition is expected to be released next week.
The Phantoms will again be holding their annual charity round in 2020 and have invited spectators to enjoy the game of rugby during home games this season at the town ovals.
"We're a real family club and I think that's what people really enjoy," Hill said.
