Twenty teams entered the event held on January 19, with 80 participants all up.
Conditions on the day were overcast, with the temperature hovering around the 25 degree mark.
The 9am shotgun start meant all teams were able to complete their 18 holes by around 1pm before it rained later in the day.
At the end of the day's play, the top three teams were:
First: Lindsay Fysh, Ben Elwin, Josh Helson and Mason Dryburgh (score 53.6).
Second: Josh Cahill, Nathan Cahill, Jarrad Cahill and James Auld (score 54.2 on a countback).
Third: Kerry Brain, Les Dedini, Jim Curtis and Ron Broadrick (score 54.2).

The top teams are now eligible to progress to and compete at the regional finals where they will be bidding for a spot at the national title to be held on the Sunshine Coast.
The Volkswagen Scramble is a pro-amateur club team's event which is managed by the PGA of Australia.
Since the event commenced in 1992, the Volkswagen Scramble has become Australia's largest and most successful pro-amateur team's event.
