A YOUNG man has had his license suspended after being caught drinking driving on the weekend.
The 22-year-old man was driving north on Maple Street around 12.40am on February 23 when he was spotted by Leeton police.
Officers stopped the man for a random breath test due to the "manner of driving".
After speaking with the driver, police noticed his breath smelled of alcohol, he was allegedly argumentative and his eyes were bloodshot and red.
On return to the Leeton police station, the man's blood alcohol reading returned a positive result of 0.067, a low-range offence.
His licence was suspended on the spot.
