Investigations are currently being undertaken into the tragic death of an infant. The five-day-old baby was found unresponsive at a home in Leeton just after 6.30pm on Friday. Emergency services attended and tried to revive the child through CPR, however despite their efforts the baby died at the scene. MORE NEWS
Police are awaiting the post-mortem results to determine the cause of the child's death.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
