Here at the Leeton Soldiers Club, we are right back into the swing of things as we kick-off 2020. March is guaranteed to be a very busy one for us with a number of weddings already booked in, a large school reunion confirmed and the annual Golf ProAm all squeezed into just a few short weeks. But we love a challenge! Without a doubt, Easter is set to be a highlight on our 2020 functions calendar. We are proudly the host venue for the Leeton SunRice Festival opening cocktail function, 'Shades of Green' and this one is looking to be a fabulous night. The organisers have even challenged our chefs to possibly create some green canapes or beverages! I can't wait to see what creations they come up with! Tickets for this are now on sale via club reception. Before that function though, we will officially kick off Easter with our 'Mega Easter Raffles' on Sunday, April 5. With over $7000 in prizes to be given away, planning has already begun! There will be face painting, lots of raffles and even a visit from the Easter Bunny. He will hop on in to give us a hand running our Mega Egg Hunt especially for the kids. We do love our mega raffles here at the club - they always guarantee a good day for both staff and our patrons. The remaining plans for Easter continue to progress well as we lock in more activities, more performers and more raffles to keep you entertained right throughout the Easter long weekend.
