LEETON shire's Small Schools joined together for a swimming carnival that had students giving it their best shot in the pool recently. Wamoon Public School, Yanco Public School and Whitton-Murrami Public School students all joined together at the Whitton pool for their event. Age champions were crowned, personal bests recorded and a whole lot of fun had in the process. The event is held every year between the schools and allows the students to not just compete against each other and try their absolute best, but it also gives them a chance to meet up as friends and have a chat. Each school takes it in turns of being the "host" every year, handling the organisation of the day and co-ordinating the many events involved. MORE SPORT
