Students donned their house colours as they moved to get the best result for their teams in the water and out.
Tenison house was the victor on the day for the first time in seven years, with the win built on participation and team spirit.
"The carnival is only a success because of the relentless effort of good people, building the community culture of our fine school," principal Seb Spina said.
"It is quite amazing as principal to be able to literally hand over the student body to year 12 for the day.

"Year 12 did a brilliant job in the days leading up to the carnival, arranging house themes, creating chants and organising student entries.
"This allowed Adam Chilko and his team of dedicated staff clear air to conduct a worthy event, of which any school would be proud."
