The Ferrets won the toss and elected to bat and were put on the back foot early with Peter Lashbrook (4) falling in the second over to the bowling of Glenn Hillam (1/20).
Scott McDonald joined Jamie O'Connell in the middle, and the pair tried to lay the foundation for his side however with the score on 31, Andrew Kouzan struck to remove McDonald (2) when he trapped him in front of the stumps.
O'Connell found a partner in the form of Kai Schmetzer and the pair were able to put on 35 runs before Charlie Lamont struck to remove O'Connell (33) and then followed in up an over later with the wicket of Schmetzer (22) to see the Ferrets sitting on 4/70 after 15.2 overs.
Lamont (3/6) continued to pick up wickets with the dismissal of Bryce Collins (7) in her next over to see the Ferrets really struggling on 5/79.
Dylan Browne and Jack Kidd were able to get their side towards the 100-mark before both Kidd (5), and Cody Browne (1) fell to the bowling of Abid Hussain (3/11) who then took the wicket of Dylan Browne (11) when Max Yelland stumped him.
The Ferrets were able to get over the hundred-mark before they were bowled out in the 29th over with the score on 111.
The Stags were able to make a strong start in their reply with Brian Rotherham and Hillam getting their side to 0/47 off the first 10 overs.
After an expensive over from McDonald helping the Stags lift their side to 61, Glenn Hillam (43) was caught by Cody Browne off the bowling of Schmetzer (1/24) as the Ferrets looked to get themselves back into the game with the Stags threatening to run away with the game sitting on 1/68 after 12 overs.
Max Yelland came in and kept the run-scoring ticking over with Rotherham as they looked to get their side over the line.
Rotherham (38*) and Yelland (25*) were able to hit the remaining 44 runs in eight over to see the Stags walk away with the nine-wicket win with 14.4 overs remaining.
