Among those are the educators at early learning centres, including at Goodstart Leeton.
With this in mind, the efforts of staff, their families and children were recognised with a special dress up day last week.
With a superhero theme, the idea was for children and staff to come dressed in their best attire to reflect who their favourite superhero is.
There were many batmen and batwomen, supermen and superwomen, children with capes and even the Wiggles were featured.
Goodstart Leeton centre director Samantha Gray said the team wanted to do something to life the spirits of the children and their families during the ongoing health crisis.
"We saw a few posts saying childcare educators are superheros so we decided to roll with that idea," she said.
"The children love superheros, so we knew the they would have an amazing day.
"We turned up the music outside and had a bit of a dance party and played some games."

With childcare educators really on the frontline of the pandemic, the Leeton centre feels it is important to continue having a happy mood around each day.
"We feel the mental health of our families educators and children is very important especially during times like these, so we just want to bring as much fun and laughter to everyone as possible," Ms Gray said.
"We are going to bring as much positivity to our centre as we can by continuing to hold these fun days over the next few weeks or months."
