Neill sold his Double Bay property for an undisclosed amount believed to be over $3.6 million to an Australian bidder currently in Hong Kong via online auction.
The stunning double-fronted Federation home features an open space living and dining area that leads out onto an outdoor terrace, and is just a short stroll to Double Bay Beach.
Clean lines, high ceilings and fresh white interiors give the home a relaxed yet stylish feel.
The online marketing for the home was headlined "Vendor wants fast sale". Selling agent Paul Ephron of Ballard Property used the Openn Negotiation App to make that a reality for his client.
After only 20 days on market, the final bidding stage lasted just under an hour with five active bidders and twenty observers watching the action.

In a remarkable act of generosity, an 82-year-old semi-retired builder will donate the entire proceeds from the auction of his luxury coastal penthouse to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) Foundation Coronavirus Action Fund.
Keith Drake has decided to donate proceeds from the auction of his two storey-luxury penthouse in the seaside town of Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, for which he paid $2.75 million in 2006.
