LEETON police were forced to shut down a party in Leeton on Friday night after residents were allegedly flaunting public health orders.

Officers were alerted to the party around 9.45pm.
After attending the Railway Avenue home, police were met by a 53-year-old man, who was later issued with a warning for not complying with ongoing restrictions to help restrict the spread of COVID-19.
Officers asked those in attendance to leave and the gathering was disbanded.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old Leeton woman has been issued with a court attendance notice after police discovered her behind the wheel despite her licence being suspended.
Officers stopped the woman for a roadside breath test at 1am on Sunday, which returned a negative result.
However, further inquiries revealed the driver's licence was suspended and she will now face Leeton Local Court at a later date.
A 20-year-old female resident had her licence suspended on Friday night after being detected drink driving.

The green p-plate motorist was stopped by officers for a roadside breath test in Acacia Avenue at 9pm on April 24 where she returned a positive result.
A further breath analysis at the Leeton police station also returned a positive reading of 0.046.
Red and green p-plate drivers are not permitted to have any alcohol in their system when behind the wheel.
The woman's licence was suspended for three months.
