A MAN was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his car in Leeton on Wednesday morning.

Police were called to Brobenah Hall Road on April 29 about 6.10am where they found the 25-year-old male driver had lost control of his vehicle and hit some small trees.
The man, who was uninjured, was the sole occupant of the car and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Leeton emergency services personnel were also on scene, with the man given a breath test, which returned a positive result.

He was arrested and taken to the Leeton police station where he was submitted to a further breath analysis, which returned a positive reading of 0.099, putting him in the mid-range category.
The man was issued with a court attendance notice and his licence was suspended.
Meanwhile, a man driving on Stony Point Road at Leeton also on April 29 was stopped by police for a roadside breath test.
This returned a negative result and the man was then submitted to a drug test which returned a positive reading for methamphetamine.
He was taken to the Narrandera police station where further testing returned the same positive result.
These results will now be sent off for further testing before any further action is taken.
