Construction work at the Leeton Showground to build a new grandstand is coming along at a cracking pace, with trades of all varieties working together to ensure the project remains on track.
MORE NEWS
It has been almost two years since Leeton Shire Council was awarded funding for the project, which is a co-ordinated effort between the many stakeholders who use the grounds.
These organisations have also contributed to funding the work.
The former grandstand was an eyesore and fell beyond repair for many years before eventually being demolished.
The new facility will be top-class and will allow for seating of dozens of people out of the weather on those blustery winter days at the football.
It is hoped the upgrade of the grandstand and others areas at the Leeton Showground, that it may be able to attract even more events in the future.
